As promised, I'm back with a review of Desktop AdSense Cash Machine. The full AdSense Cash Machine review has the complete details, but here's a summary:
- Windows application
- Page layout controlled via simple templating system
- Fetches articles from two well-known article directories
- Creates index files automatically
- Lets you filter based on keywords and keyword density
- Transfers the generated files for you via built-in FTP capability
Here's a screenshot of the application in action:

If you're looking to create a themed article site, this product's not bad if the price is low enough. I'm selling it for $10 (including my custom template) without resale rights. At that price it's pretty cheap. (See the links at the bottom of the full review to buy it. You can also purchase resale rights.)
Is this software right for you? It depends. If you're expecting to just create an article site with no work and rake in the money, forget it. While this software definitely simplifies most of the process, you still have to spend some time creating your own templates. You'll also have to tweak the output before placing it on your site — some of the articles you get need some cleanup work. And the templating system's not perfect, because the page titles don't get created by default. But it definitely saves a lot of time if you're looking to get started. I had the credit and debt article directory up within 30 minutes, most of which was spent noodling with the look of the site.
And then there's the question of whether or not creating an article directory even makes sense. If all you're doing is grabbing articles at random and republishing them (like I have!), you're really not adding anything of value. As I mentioned before, article directories aren't unethical, but many aren't very useful. You can use Desktop AdSense Cash Machine to get started, but try to make your site different somehow. Read the articles and pick the best ones to include. Add capsule reviews of each article. Whatever… something to make them a bit different from all the other article sites.
